This video demonstrates the latest advancements available within the Layout Editor in the OrCAD X 23.1.1 release. Users can now apply a stipple pattern to any object in their design allowing more visibility of the total design. User Defined Views allow you to create a defined set of visibility, zoom, and color options. IP protection locking allows you to lock your design with a password so you can share the design without allowing anyone to make edits to it. In addition, when working with third parties, it is common to want to reuse the placement across different CAD designs or tools, with OrCAD x you can now import and export component placement.
